The Child Visa (Subclass 101) is for children who are outside Australia and are the biological, adopted, or stepchild of an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or eligible New Zealand citizen. This visa grants permanent residency in Australia.
Permanent residency for children under 18 years of age, full-time students aged over 18 and under 25 years and financially dependent on the parent, or over 18 and unable to work due to a disability.

The Adoption Visa (Subclass 102) is for children adopted by Australian citizens, permanent residents, or eligible New Zealand citizens. This visa allows adopted children from overseas to live in Australia permanently with their adoptive parents.

The Orphan Relative Visa allows children whose parents are deceased, permanently incapacitated, or cannot care for them to live in Australia with a relative. The Subclass 117 is for children outside Australia, while Subclass 837 is for children already in Australia.

Available to children under 18 years of age, single and have no parent able to care for them.

The Dependent Child Visa (Subclass 445) is a temporary visa for children whose parent is holds a temporary Partner Visa. This visa allows the child to stay in Australia temporarily while their parent’s permanent partner visa is processed.

The Aged Dependent Relative Visa is for older relatives who are financially dependent on an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or eligible New Zealand citizen and have no partner. This visa grants permanent residency for both offshore (Subclass 114) and onshore (Subclass 838).
